I've been debating picking up Mario Kart for the Wii... The going rate seems to be $59.99 everywhere, but I just saw it on Dell.ca for $48.99 w/ free shipping. PM opportunity for an additional $1.10 off at FS or BB...

Default Worst Dell experience ever was with Mario Kart
Remember when Mario Kart first came out and Dell had a pre-order on a Days Deals. Most of us got delayed months until orders were finally cancelled. Had to scramble to get one at the last minute from Amazon.ca for a birthday present.

When I started looking for this it was nowhere to be found for about 2 months. Suddenly every store had plenty, and at $59.99. No excuse to be short on games...

I was thinking the exact same thing. I couldve sworn that when I bought it, it was not $59.99 as i see it everywhere now.

It went up, I unfortunately had to pick it up at 59.99, it was 49.99 for the longest time. Adjust for the current regular price. This is a warm deal...

my memory's a bit hazy, but did the Wii go up as well? When i bought it 2 years ago, it couldve been $269

You are right, it was $269 before, maybe they re-adjusted for the lower Canadian dollar now.

Same here, sometime in January 2009, this game absolutely disappeared (and was selling for $80-$100 on Ebay), and I was lucky to find one at ToysRus in February when a box was opened, but lately it's been *everywhere*.
