Default Walmart toys clearance - VUGO $50,CD Walkman $10, etc...

I was at walmart in Hamilton yesterday and they had huge clearance in the toy department.

VUGO - was $129 Now $50

-128MB BUILT-IN MEMORY FOR UP TO ONE HOUR OF VIDEO ( from TV or computer, etc...) or 6 HOURS OF MUSIC OR 1200 PHOTOS.

- 3" COLOR BACKLIT SCREEN, BUILT IN SPEAKER, POWWER ADAPTER, USP PORTS AND CABLES AND HEADPHONE JACKS.

This is a kids thing. Picked one up for my daughter. Tested it with recording a kids tv show, picture is not very high resolution (very comparable to the video now colour - same mfg) but is okay for . Didn't try to do anything with the music or photos yet, but for $50 to me seemed like a heck of a deal for a multi purpose item.

Street Beat Anti Skip (60 sec) cd Player Was $24.97 NOW: $10

- Fully programmable 60 sec anti skip, with digital stereo headphones
- Model # KC-720
- yellow and blue in colour

Strawberry Shortcake DVD Player WAS: $99 Now $30

I am not sure if it has progressive scan or not, but it is described as portable ( not in the sense that it has a battery and screen but that it is small)

Bratz Canopy Was : $19.97 Now $5

They had lots of other clearance items, good deals. Too many to list. I think the batman DVD player was marked to $50 (i think).

All of the strawberry shortcake licensed stuff (i.e. alarm clocks, dvd players, etc...) seemed to be marked really low

Note, these are all in the TOY SECTION. I was at another walmart later, they didn't have all of the pricing up for all of the items but you can always scan and make sure.

FYI - I got these items at the Upper James Walmart at Mountain Plaza Mall - If anyone needs this info. to get the prices at their local walmart

Hope this is useful to someone.

only if you put Hamilton in the subject. Other Walmarts will not have these.

Most walmarts have things on sale, really good prices too! Picked up the OCC Comanche bike, for $5.00. They didn't have any of the other ones, but pretty good price for the large bike...

is "Street Beat" the brand of the cd player or what?

$10 is similar to the price that CT had for their Curtis 33s anti-skip cd player a while back....

Picked up a Dora CD player for my daughter, was $40 now $20. Overpriced for a cd player but anything with Dora on it is usually pricey.

I corrected...its Diamond Vision
DO NOT BUY THOSE
i work at wal-mart
to give you an idea, we sold two skids worth (so about 120) on boxing day....every single one came back.
for $30, its pretty much something you find in a box of cracker jacks
remember, you get what you pay for

As for Strawberry Shortcake, that's a TV character (think of back in the day with the barbie computers...now they have Dora and Strawberry Shortcake TV's and DVD players)
