I'm attending UW, but I know a person who was on a wait list @ Ryerson and ended up getting in. They just kept bugging the faculty office about it and were told mid/late august they got in.

Doesn't Ryerson have like 60% admission averages? How much lower are your marks?

some of ryerson's programs are 60% to get in,
but if you are on the waiting list...
im gonna presume that your either trying to get into engineering, or business management or itm or maybe arts?

most likely, you'll get in by mid-late august,

if you havent received anything, call the office of the program you want to get into and ask them for updated info

What?! Ryerson has a waitlist? </sarcasm>
Ryerson administration are terrible when it comes to stuff like schedules, fees, or anything that a university would do that relates to students.
Just wait it out, you'll probably be in by September.

nah... its typically a 70% average to get in. But a lot of people slip in with 65s

I'd say you have a 60-70% chance of getting in.

I've only one friend on their waiting list, but he got accepted by June or July. Since it's late August, I'd say it's not so hot...

ryerson administration is incredibly lazy and slow!

ie: I asked for a copy of my transcript, I filled out the forms, paid my money and hte guy told me to come back in two weeks. I come back in two weeks, its not done, told me to come back the next day. I go back the next day, its still not done, but the guy goes to the back offices, comes back, asks for my info, goes back again, prints out the transcript right there and then and hands it to me. Doesn't even bother to put it in a sealed envelope!

they were ok with me...i've been in contact with the admissions comittee and they've really helped me alot ~ unfortunately i don't think top 10 means anything anymore because i don't forecast the list moving...might have to wait till next year
