Default VISA credit: SUNDRY CREDIT/CREDIT DIVERS ON

I just checked my VISA activity online and I noticed I received some money from SUNDRY CREDIT/CREDIT DIVERS ON. Anyone get this? I did a quick search and found that in the past week, two/three other people have received a credit from this company on their credit card.

I'm all for free money, but I also know that there is no such thing as a free lunch. What's up with the credit??

CIBC awhile back this summer sent us cheques as well for abour $12 for adjustments made due to incorrect calculations of overdraft charge.

They did that one very quietly.

Hey thanks! I was wondering about that for a little while now... Never got around to verifying it... Now, I don't have too.

I cancelled my CIBC Visa a couple months ago, so I don't know if I'll even be getting any kind of credit . But I read about the class action lawsuit a while ago, and the credit that appeared on your statement seemed to fit the bill. A quick Google search led to the CIBC page with more info.

yeah i checked my cibc and saw this strange 78 cents credit and thought it was ebay or something. but it was SUNDRY CREDIT/CREDIT DIVERS ON, who i've never even heard of. i might give them a call to find out whats going on- with the holiday period and tons of people shopping online keep an eye out for suspicious things popping up on your credit card statement from now until january especially.

"Sundry" is not a company name; it's an English word that means "miscellaneous".
