Valentine's day many years ago

While I was in my home country, I sold roses along with 2 classmates at the last valentine's day before I moved to Canada.

We went to some wholesale flower market 1 week before, booked some roses, and bought some materials and we picked up the day before.

It took us a few hours to package the roses (forgot how much we bought), and I thought we would make money. But not many people bought! It took us long time, from morning --> night...but we couldn't sell even 50% of them at the end, we almost gave away for much cheaper price.

It was a surprise that we didn't lose money (just barely made it even). This is my first 'entrepreneur' story
