Valentines - the day I met my airport girl again

I have actually had a few interesting Valentines but last year took the cake. I have to back track for a bit to make sense however.

June, 2002 - I was coming back from Italy and had a stop-over in Vienna. I was only 14 years old and to say the least a little confused, thus I had an air port lady making sure my transition from flight to flight was smooth and I didn't get lost. Now we didn't calculate it, but it turned out that my stop over was 7 hours. I was so tired and they placed me in some kid room which was filled with other minors in the same boat. There were some games, tables, beds. I just sat there. Then a girl walked in with her friend. She was to say the least VERY beautiful. I just felt I liked her. I then fell asleep, only to wake up and she was sitting on the floor in tears.

I was coming back from burying my dad in Italy, so I was dressed in "dressy black" clothes but I went over to her and asked her what had happened. She went on to tell me that she had lost her passport, that her parents were in Miami, and she was headed to Albania. I felt horrible for her, but alas we at least got to talk. The flight attendent who was seeing to me took us both to Burger King, where we used a voucher to purchase a burger each. Long story short, we took down e mails and I was on my way. I didn't hear from her.. I lost her e mail, she totally forgot mine, and I would always think about it.

2 years later, I thought I saw her in my cousin's year book in New Jersey. I was a little bit skeptical, perhaps it wasn't her. Her name was Angela, and I guess I couldn't remember her last name. Her hair was blonde when I met her and now it was blackish. Later (3 years after that in 2007 January) I tried looking for her name on hi5.com. I FOUND HER! she had pictures of Raptors players and w/e and I was a huge Raptors fan. I was part of a screwed up Multilevel marketing company and my deal with my superior was, if I could sign up 10 people I would get NJ Nets Toronto Raptors game tickets for February 14 2007.

I was thrilled, and after 40 hours of tracking people down, I had 10 signed and I got the tickets. I messaged her prior to getting them to get in touch, I mentioned how Vince Carter may be coming back to Toronto as per trade rumors, and she messaged back, and we started talking. I asked her to come to the game with me on the 14th, and to my surprise she did. She had totally forgotten me in a sense, but when she saw me face to face for the first time since, she said I looked very... and when she figured it out it was honestly amazing. After 5 years I found my airport girl, and I know its totally crazy and everytime we tell someone they all say... uhhh wow okay :S but its 100% true. We split around September but got back together in november (all my mistake) and are going on One year on February 26th. Thanks for reading!

so did she get a new passport ?

she had to stay and her rents faxed over a copy of her passport avec her passport number and w/e. I believe she made the next flight to Albania. Now that you mention it, I really want to know in detail what happened after I left lol. Gotta ask her today.

Wow this story reminds me a little too much of some mafia movie ... ok I am joking around and don't want you to get offended in anyway ..

I think its quite amazing to meet the same person in 2 different countries, and find them in 3. I mean, yes I looked for her the third time but I STUMBLED into her twice in two different continents... I don't really care if I win or not really, I bought her something already but I'd love to add this gift to it. I just want people to know (whenever I tell people this) that life gets better than clubs and different girls every night and random sex, especially when you have to work to get that special person for you... I unno
