Anyone ever attend this University? I'm going there in Sept for a Bat Eng in Physics and it's going to be 100% in French.
I seriously have no idea what to expect and was wondering if anyone had some tips for an anglophone (who's second language is french). |

Wow, well i wish you the best of luck, I wouldn't even try to tackle a 100% French program, even if my second language was French.
But all I can say is pay attention and make sure you know what's going on! --Mark |

When I was at UOttawa (which is more francophone than anglophone) for my science undergrad, I took several courses in French because I preferred the smaller class sizes. One of them was physics. If you're fluent in the language, you should have no trouble adapting. Most of the terminology is the same, the ones that aren't you can quickly figure out. I didn't have any difficulty, so I doubt you would either.
edit: as to what to bring, I'm assuming you're living in residence. You'll need the basics, a laptop (people may say that the comp labs are fine, but I think having your own is essential), printer, the usual school supplies, bedsheets, towels, washroom stuff, lamp, and a phone w/ answering machine. A mini fridge and microwave is nice, as well as a TV, but your residence probably has a common room equipped with all that, so it's not neccessary.

Haha, this is pretty pathetic, I'm going on 22 and this is my first time leaving home "on my own". Since I will be in Res, I should probably make a list of stuff I wanna bring (all the stuff you said + maby other crap)
