Default TTC Route question to Union Station

Hi,
My daughter is taking the train tomorrow morning to NYC and wants to take the bus/subway with her friend. The friend lives at Lawrence and Underhill. Can anyone give me the fastest and least confusing route? TTC info is closed and I can't remember the last time I took TTC. TIA for any help.

Jack

take the 54 lawrence east bus headed west (boards on the north side of Lawrence). That takes them to Eglinton station, take the train south to union.

This was a REALLY basic question that 5 minutes of effort and a map would easily solve.

This topic is almost as funny as the news on the girls who were trapped but Facebook instead of dialing 911 on the cell..

the only thing to note if the train to New York leaves on Sunday. There is no subway service until 9 am from Eglinton. Buses replace the subway.

Also if your daughters going to NYC, shouldn't she be figuring this stuff out? She'll stick out like a sore thumb in new york asking for directions.

If she thinks the TTC is confusing, she's gonna be in a labyrinth in NYC.

a bit late for you but hopefully this will help others, here are links to two TTC trip planners:

http://www.ttc-tripplanner.ca/

http://myttc.ca/

Both indicate ~50min travel times for your trip, but take different routes.

Boycott the Canadian Tire located at 403 & Dundas for it's clueless automotive department, poor service and lack of commonly stocked items.

Took the Megabus to NYC to transfer to another Megabus to Boston.

Even though the arrivals and departure zones were simply a few short blocks away, I could've easily gotten lost in the numbered streets. It's time consuming when you have to backtrack when you find out you've gone the wrong way. Manhattan's more than just a labyrinth.
