Default Trailer: "I Am Legend" w' Will Smith

http://iamlegend.warnerbros.com/

Trailer has me intrigued. Coincidentally I'm reading Stephen Kings' "The Stand" which, for those who haven't read it revolves around a super flu which decimates nearly the entire human race. This movie seems to have a similar outline except that Will Smith is the 'ONLY' survivor of the plague. As seen in the trailer there may be a 'Zombies' in play that only come out at night.
Thoughts?

I believe this movie is actually based on a book...and I believe the 'zombies' are actually vampires

This was way better than I thought it'd be.

Very dark, very tense, very good.

i found it really interesting, since it's pretty original and most of it was surprising because the trailer doesn't give much of it away. but along with that previous comment about half an hour in i thought it got pretty predictable and the end was just a bit crappy

Every time I've seen the trailer so far it's drawn me in a little bit more each time. Definitely need to invest the time to go out and see it. Gotta check out the scores on it first online to make sure it's looking good by both viewers and critics alike.

Anyone else have impressions on it?

i think i'm the only one with a partially negative post in this thread about the movie. but i'm not saying it's a bad movie. definitely one of the better movies made this year, and i could go as far as saying one of my top 3's of this year, it's just that i always find some parts of movies to be not as great as other parts...

Saw this tonight...still unsure of what I thought of it. I'll keep it spoiler free, but the Dog scenes were oddly the most moving parts of the movie, I think the entire theater was in tears The ending was kind of a letdown, but keep with the VERY dark theme and tone of the film. Will Smith I think was phenomenal, given the fact he was basically alone the entire film.
Definitely not what most ppl would expect, but friggen scary given the plausibility.

Save yourself the money and watch the regular... i was pretty dissapointed with the imax because i seen imax films before and this just couldn't compare. Good performance..typical Will Smith style..storyline could have been better..and ending kept you asking............WTF?
