Default T&S Faucets

I have the oportunity to purchase the faucet below at just over 50% off new and was wondering if anyone has used or installed them before? I can get either backsplash or counter mount and different nozzles. I don't know whether it would be good for a laundry room or kitchen per say. I believe the list price including tax is around $500.00 and they're a comercial kitchen grade unit. I applogize for the size of the second picture as I don't know how to down size it.

As a plumber I've installed these type of faucets numerous times in a commercial type application. Usually in restaurants or bakeries with sinks 2-4 feet long and 1 foot or more deep. IMO these are just way too much for a residential application and I think they'd look ridiculous installed in a home.

I appreciate the response, the only reason I considered it is do to the new kitchen design faucets that seem to be coming out now, for eg.

I agree - not practical for home use. In fact, the hose area is a prime breeding ground for bacteria since it's not washable.

If you goto a good bath/kitchen store, some sales people will steer you away from these types of fixtures because they're not well suited for residential usage. They look nice, but aren't all that good in a residential size kitchen.

Well then I guess I might as well miss out of this deal of over 50% off. I'm wondering if anyone else wants to take advantage of it for comercial use.
