We're having problems with wireless access to Sympatico in the house. First it worked then we brought the laptop to the basement and back up, then it didn't work anymore.
Bell techs weren't able to fix the problem. First they said it's a problem with the modem since the line was OK, then this morning another woman called and said it was actually the line and not the modem. I doubt it's the modem since the desktop works on it, and I doubt it's the line, since my desktop is working. I think it's just that they don't know what they're talking about, or how to fix the problem. Any else have this problem? |

I'm suprised they're actually willing to troubleshoot the issue with you considering it is a wireless router issue.
First step: Is you laptop getting a connection to your wireless router?

Maybe the your laptop is too far away? Try to see if there is a connection when its near the wireless modem/router.
