My story is neither funny or crazy, but its our Valentines Day tradition.
Our first Valentines goes back to '99. She was living on Res at SFU and in first year engineering. I went up to her res after work waiting for her to come back from working on a project. At about 10:30pm she called and said that she would still be another few hours. Seeing that there would be no more restaurants open, I drove down the hill to find some food. Subway. It seemed to be the only place open. So I picked up two foot longs, and drove back up. At about 12:30am (Feb 15th!) she finally came back and woke me up! Their project was due the next day so she had to stay and finish things up. She thought the subway was cute and quirky. Here we are 9 years later, engaged and getting married this August! This Feb 14th, also brings out 9 trip to Subway. Yup we've kept it up every year, and I save big from not having to take her to a fancy restaurant! I think the best year was the time I showed up with a 2 for 1 coupon. The female working at Subway must of been thinking 'Boy is this guy cheap bringing his girlfriend to Subway on Valentines day!' |

I probably collected stamps at the start, but they eventually stopped giving those out because of all the ebay scammers. |
