A Stressful valentines day...

The day was Monday Feburary 14, 2005, my girlfriend and I have been going out for 5 months now. Since it was a monday I happened to have school for the whole day from 12pm to 10 pm at York, therefore having any even plans were out of the question. Since we both wanted to see each other on that special day we made an arrangement to see each other after my class.

So a couple of days in advance I purchase a dozen roses and a box of choclate so that I could give it to her when I see her, I picked up the roses from the flower shop in the morning and stored them in my car and continued on with my day.

My initial plan was to go to school, finish class and then commute back to the GO station(where i parked my car) and then drive to my girl friend's house before 12 aclock, but my plans were unfortunately ruined as class ended late. I ran to the bus stop and there I saw my bus leaving without me. I was screwed, I had to wait another hour before another bus would come.

I started to panic since I really wanted to see her and give her the flowers and choclate before the clock striked 12 and time was running out. It was 11:15pm and the Go Bus finally arrived. It took 30 minutes to get to Unionville Station(located Kennedy/407), I only had 15 minutes to get to downtown where her house was located.

I bolt down the 407 (I never use the 407 since I find it expensive) and down the 404/dvp checking around the highway to make sure there was no cops and got to her place at 11:58 pm. I Rang her door bell, and was finally able to say Happy Valentines Day and gave her the flowers/chocolate and a kiss before the day ended.
