Thanks OP, I grabbed this simply because I needed some of the parts. Much cheaper than buying a Vehicle Kit.

Thanks OP. I ordered one for myself and a friend.

I just purchased an XM Myfi for $30 from a Zellers here in the GTA that is closing and it came with 3 months subscription free. Once that runs out, I'll probably sign up for a US subscription of Sirius and get the Best of XM included.

I ended up adding one of the 4 GB Omnitech USB thumbdrives which bumped it over $50 for free shipping.

Now, I just need to find a cheap home kit or way to charge this from an AC adapter.

Yeah that sucks.
Wonder if I could PM it anywhere?

Can you order more than $50 and just return the extra thing to the store?

I just purchased the last one online yesterday and had it delivered today. I added a 4 gig memory stick which brought the total to over $50 which meant no shipping charge. I returned the stick to a nearby Staples without a problem... although I did end up purchasing an 8 gig stick on sale for $19.99. (gotta love impulse buying!)
It only goes to show that no matter how old the thread, it's always worth checking!

BTW, I bought my first Sirius receiver as a result of RFD (before Sirius was in Canada). It was a reconditioned model for under $40. When that packed it in I purchased a receiver from The Source for under $30 (2 years ago).,, another RFD deal. That packed it in last Fri.. Sirius U.S. offered me a receiver for $10 but couldn't ship it to Canada. I got them to give me 2 free months to pay for another unit. With this deal I'm ahead of the game... plus it has a remote! Thanks OP. I know it's cheaper to listen to regular radio but I tried and couldn't stand it. Too many commercials, the same old same old not to mention the Canadian regulations.

Get a cheap converter at the Source (linK) put a boom box next to the unit and there you go (It's even easier if you can score another antenna to be used for your indoor setup.)
