i'd much prefer an RFDer post a deal that may indeed be OOS on stooples.ca, than not post at all.
at least i know what the SKU is, and i can use that info to help me check for B&M stock.[/QUOTE]

Well most of the items will be OOS as they are discontinued (so stock won't be replenished). If you see stock online, it should be instock (with the exception of the Phantom Stock Period). Just remember not to order then...

If it greets you with the message "X of 999 available" then the item is in stock online (given X > 0).
If it's not in stock online, you can also try your luck at your local store.

I love these posts too!

Even though they are rarely in stock online, I have always had excellent luck finding them in the local stores!

Just noticed a slight price drop on the panasonic 4 handset cordless phone...

http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/ca...,&webid=679446

I bought this a few weeks ago in store from the clearance bin for $99 - 25%....Was on the website the last few weeks for $99....Now showing on the website for $69.97...10 available in GVA....It's a very well built phone.....Much better than the Uniden/GE models that I've tried...

I will be the first and I am sure not the last to say, that if these types of posts were removed, then I would also not be an RFD addict; which might be a good thing, wait a minute, fmpsportsguy you were right all along. I am so confused, DAMN you RFD!

by clicking on an apparently out of stock item canon a570is I ended up doing a little legwork and getting a couple of them for $89 last week or so that also led me to the $98 a580 (advertised in flyer) as well as saving me $90 for 4 panasonic phones I had bought online for $39 that dropped again in price to $19.....so there is some utility although it takes a little effort and good luck
