Default Sony 6.1 Channel Home Theatre Receiver (STRDG500S)

Future Shop has this Sony and Quest Q-Movies III Speaker System (6.1) on for 279.99 ($220 off).

Is this a good deal or cheap crap. I have no surround at all right now -- just using the TV speakers (Tv is also a Sony if compatability is any issue)

I PMed Sony at FS and could get it for $168ish+tax one or two weeks ago. The receiver is very good. I'm happy with it. It has all the basic features (and even more) that you would need. Just hook it up to your DVD and satellite receiver and enjoy!
My opinion:

Pros:
Lots of features for this price
Relatively easy to use
good sound quality
2-year warranty

Cons:
Ugly
Tall (make sure it fits your stand shelf)
lacks S-video jack
only 2 optical inputs

Also picked up a set of Quest Q-Movies III. They are surprisingly good! I'm not saying they're excellent but c'mon! a set of 5.1 speakers with 5 years warranty for only 100 bucks! That's cool! I always thought they were piece of crap so I was like " OK, will buy'em and if I didn't like them will return them."

H-K, Pioneer, Yamaha,... they're much better than this package but I don't see any reason to pay half a grand for an HT package! I'd rather invest on a larger Plasma/LCD instead.
