Default Simple Question about my video problems.

Im just gonna give my sister computer away to a friend cause i f**ked up hers.

anyway ill keep the lost story short.
My sister has a mx440 64mb ddr card in there.
since this girls not gonna pay me for it, im dont want to give her a video card that i spend 120 bucks on a year ago.
I have a pci card which is the exact same model she has.

Heres the problem.
When i connect my monitor to the pci video card it doesnt work, no picture.
When i connect to the pci and leave the agp one in the slot, it works.
But heres the part when i take out the agp card it doensnt work agian.
any ideas ???

im going nuts here.

MErry Christmas to all of you by the way and thanks for help.

Did you play with the settings that modifies which one (PCI or AGP) should be the main video card on BIOS?

Just so you know the first PCI slot shares IRQ resources with the AGP slot. So there can sometimes be conflicts with cards placed in slot 1.

I always use the first PCI slot as a last resort if all others are full.
