The key to 100% success rate is...

1) follow the instructions
2) print clearly -- get your sister to print if you can't
3) make photocopies of everything you need to send in for the rebate
4) follow up after 10-12 weeks (call the manufacture if you have too)
5) follow the instructions

Follow up directly with the manufacture if contacting the rebate center yields nothing. Most companies now have someone working in customer service that will troubleshoot problem rebate submissions. Having complete copies of the original submission is essential.

Rebate centers are paid to process rebates. Although, I cannot confirm, they are likely also paid MORE to find reasons to reject rebates. Simply put, don't give them a reason and you'll be fine.

still, sometimes, companies that have a lot of rebates will start saying that they "did not recieve"

i had once, i rebate 2 items at the same time in ONE envelope... guess what, they said that they have 1 of my rebates, but not the other one? so what does that mean? someone was nice enough to open my mail to take 1 rebate out or was it because they lost it?

figure it out urself.

Most of the rebate forms will instruct you not to include more than one rebate submission per envelope. Even if it didn't, then your photocopies would have saved you. I guess you didn't make copies either, huh?

Again, this is a perfect example of when you don't follow the instructions or protect yourself with copies you are at the mercy of rebate processors.

actually, they didnt say not to do 2 at same time... it was also when the product was cross compatible..(meaning it was like a router and a wireless network card from same company kinda thing)

and also, i did have an extra copy... but guess what, they want ORIGINAL UPC codes from the retail box... so how am i suppose to give one to them WHEN i already cut it out.

perfect example of not following instructions? oh yes i did... and not trying to fight... but sometimes, people DO the right thing, but they get screwed over.

You need to photocopy the UPC as well. That's what I mean by copying everything you submit.

I usually tape the UPC to the rebate form and photocopy it as well as the receipt. Anytime I have had problems with a rebate getting "lost" they have always accepted a copy of my submission. And, if the rebate company doesn't, the manufacture will. I got two rebates from Corsair in this manner. They were USD rebates for purchases made in the US. The rebate center had problems because I had a Canadian address (or so they said). In the end, Corsair paid me directly.

I signed.

I made a purchase with a significant rebate several years ago and it never came. Instructions were followed to a 'T'. Needless to say, I have never chosen to deal with Tiger Direct again. It's bad enough getting ripped off by random individuals in the BST forums, but by a company as established as TD?

I'm sorry but I haven't recieved a reply to my e-mail from March 17,2007. What's the matter, aren't you man enough to reply to my challenge? I'm not going away anytime soon so the more I'm ignored the more I will bother you and of coarse I'll keep putting the information out there for all to see. My recent contact's have been CNN for one and the others well you'll just need to wait and see. normally I would write a respectable e-mail letter but your organization doesn't deserve anymore respect then you give.
