Syntax SV266AD > ECS K7VTA3(6.0)

This is a KT266A board I purchase awhile back from [rfdlink=/forums/autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=148]tigerdirect.ca[/rfdlink] for $20 AR. Any for some odd reason the UltraDMA on the HD was always at 4... google and reflash with a ECS K7VTA3(6.0) bios and UltraDMA is now at 5. Wierd because the ECS K7VTA3(6.0) is a KT333 board. Everything is working well and another plus is no Syntax power on screen :) If you run a 100Mhz CPU you are SOL though because the ECS bios minium FSB is 133Mhz.

Just a tip for those who own this nice cheap little budge board. It's my main work/learning/programming pc.
