Have you all RMA the MotherBoard to GigaByte ?
They are in States, their like to use UPS so they
can Track and insure. The can use USPS but WHo
know where the MB and it has no insurance.
My Question when they send the Repair or Replacement
Who Brokage and Customs take care of you?
Do you get shafted by UPS and Canada Customs ?

I "think" warranty replacements are marked as such and don't incur border taxes.

Warranty replacements should not be subject to any duties and such...
Unless
Someone goofs at the company and neglects to invoice it as such.

No issues encountered in the past with RMA of Antec, Crucial and Corsair warranty components.

Also my experience.

OP - I have a Gigabyte RMA sitting here ready to be shipped. I'm always nervous that someone will screw up. The alternative for Gigabyte is that, if you have an account with one of the couriers, you can ship it that way.

I RMA'd a mobo back to Gigabyte, took them about 1 month to send a replacement back.

I did not get charged D/Txs...

I shipped Canada Post with tracking when I sent in my defective mobo.

Even if you do get charged brokerage fees you should be able to fill in paperwork proving it was just warranty repair and get your money refunded.

Hate to bump an old thread but, is there a Canadian shipping center for Gigabyte?

Did they fix your board or give you a new one?

I RMAed a mobo with them last month and I was not hit with any duties despite coming from the US.
