Default shortness of breath - a concern?

my partner is about 22-23 weeks in and is starting to experience a shortness in breath while she is working.

Is this normal? or should i take her to the doctor?

If she is over excerting herself at work it could be normal.

If she is concerned, she should see a doctor.

Always see a doctor if something concerns you...don't ask for advice better safe than sorry!

This is considered normal, since the developing fetus is pressing up on her diaphram making it harder to breathe. My wife has been experiencing it for a while now, especially when climbing stairs or a hill.
