Memorization, memorization, memorization. Coming into the year, I expected it to be my most lowest mark, however, it was actually one of my highest marks. You could probably DO ALOT OF READING AHEAD if you want, I can send you some links...PM me for details...we may just do a "hands-on" unit for the physiology unit

yep and like someone already said...MEMORIZATION is key...and seriously everything you learn one day go home and review it...i know naturally you'd want to leave it until the day before the test but thats the worse thing you can possibly do...ALSO try to understand it because grade 12 biology is a killer if you don't know the basics already

You'll learn to despise the following term: Kreb's cycle
Edit: sorry I forgot this was grade 11.. but speaking from the perspective of just completing grade 12 with a decent mark, 11 wasn't much to me. The one thing that glares out at me is the size of my notebook and how many notes I had to take in class and/or at home. |

i found grade 11 bio easy, it reviewed mitosis and meiosis from gr9 and more info on genetics and plants/photosynthesis. get ready for the punnett squares. pay attention too if you're thinking of going into gr12 bio, it continues more with photosynthesis and cell resp....no more punnett squares though. lots of memorization..so if you're a good memorizer, you're set. hope it helps =).
