Default quick paypal question

thinkinging about opening another paypal account since my current one is the type that accept's cc's but takes a cut each time money is sent. if i setup another account, do i have to once again put in my cc's and bank info? also once i have both accounts going, can i, without any type of fee, transfer money back and forth between accounts?

thanks

I think so

You're allowed to have
1 Premiere (takes CC, but fee on everything received)
1 Basic (no fee)

I am not sure if you can add same CC/bank info to BOTH accounts (I personally use different CC & Bank), but doesn't hurt to try

I just downgraded my premiere as I hate high $$ fees. Just state that "Don't take CC" on your eBay page, hee hee

You do not need to enter your CC/Bank info on the basic account, unless you actually want to use them to pay for something.

You can have the same CC info in both accounts BUT only one at a time. So you must delete your CC info in one account before you can use it for the other account.

You can transfer money back and forth between accounts, but of course, the fees will still be there for the premium account.

i don't mean to hijack your thread, but i have a paypal related question as well, and i figured it can be discussed in here without starting a new thread.

when paying for an item, do i have a choice of taking from my paypal balance or from my credit card??

i clicked on that "other funding options" link during the checkout process, but i can't seem to make it take from my credit card with me having a paypal balance.

it will always take from my paypal balance, and then fund the remaining with my credit card.

yes, transfering into your Premier account would be just like receiving money from someone else's account. as far as Paypal is concerned, they are two completely separate accounts. the only way to add money to you Premier account for "free" would be to fund it with your bank account.

okay, just a little tidbit of info some of you may want to know before signing up for a second paypal account. there's a receiving limit per month

"
Your Monthly Receiving Limit is the maximum amount of money you can receive before you will need to upgrade your Personal account to a Business or Premier account.

Your Monthly Receiving Limit is: $650.00 CAD
"

weak. looks like if your a big time ebay slut that a business or premier account is the only way to go.
