Default Quebec City Location Question

I am planning to go to Quebec City for Springbreak and would like to know how long of a walk these hotels are in time from the VIA RAIL trainstation.

Thank you very much!

Your best bet would be to get their addresses and check it with mappoint.msn.com or mapquest.

I've never walked from the train station but it's downtown near the docks so problably about 15 minutes to the heart of the old city. Where the hotels are in relation to that i dunno.

Google is your friend.
Train station postal code is G1K 3X2. From there, the second hotel is 1 km and the third hotel is 0.8 km. The first one isn't in walking distance (I stayed there in August 2003...final price after Priceline fees and tax was US$43.40, and the rooms were very good...but location is bad if you don't have a car).

I also used priceline, it's my second experience and they screwed up! They gave me a hotel in Comfort Inn West St-Foy Airport, which is probably in the middle of nowhere. I don't drive, and priceline keeps saying they can't change anything but i told them it's thier fault but they just don't care...
I'll have to call the hotel directly and see if they'll do something but it's not even a toll free # so I hope they do or else i'm wasting 150$ for nothing I really don't know what to do.

Oh and thanks for your help guys... I used google and found the distance of two of them by km from some website...

Can someone please tell me how long of a walk to the public bus station it would be from the Comfort Inn Airport 7320 Boul. Wilfrid-Hamel Sainte Foy?

Thanks a lot, I want to know so I can get to Old Quebec with the bus.

There should be plenty of bus stops around that hotel. There are lots of hotels, restaurants, stores, cinemas nearby and Hamel is a main drag. Check http://www.stcuq.qc.ca/accueil_f.asp for more info.

It is far from downtown, by car it would be a good 15 minutes so longer by bus. But you are problably saving quite a bit compared to a downtown hotel.

Oh, I hope the area looks nice at least... and I hope the hotel is decent as well

Thanks for the info and site, I will probably be buying a day pass for each 3 days I'm there, one for me and one for my gf. It's probably be like 30$ of bus money, that's a lot less than taxi fair

As long as the bus is about 30 minutes (takes us 30 minutes by bus to get to downotwn in montreal anyway by bus) and that it's simple to get there. I really hope we don't have to keep changing bus to get to downtown. We'll be exremely happy

Wow, I just found some amazing news. It says that on Sat-Sun, with the pass it's free for the person that accompanies you We're going from fri and coming monday. What a great deal
