Maybe you should invest in some grammar lessons first Anyways, protein powder is safe, and they work quite well. I noticed the difference right away. Make sure you look in to the right brand and do the research. The name of the powder I use escapes me now. Anyways good luck "dawg".

It's safe ... if expensive on the wallet. You're paying for convenience "engineered" food really. If you don't have the time to prepare your own food then shakes can hit the spot if you choose a good product.

Of course, consuming protein just for the sake of consuming it will not give you "bigger" muscles without taking care of business first.

You have to work out, get rest, eat right and decrease stress and the rest will come. Shakes can help you increase protein intake when your body requires it for muscle maintenance/building.

But if you haven't gotten around to learning the iron game then spend your time and money going to the gym and learning about the lifestyle before plunking down hard earned cash on powder which ain't gonna help you by itself.

There was recently a show on the CBC I believe talking about performance enhancing supplements including protein powders. It talked about how you don't necessarily get whats written on the bottle and even noted that benefits from protein powders are questionable.

You guys can check out my company (if it's allowed) http://www.canadianwhey.com. Cheapest protein in Canada, yet the highest quality. Though, you probably won't be needing the 10lb tubs unless you are a bodybuilder, as it will last for ever.
No flavour, so you can take it plain, or add it to crystal light, which is what I do. Chocolate flavour will be released shortly.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I like the prices, and I especially like that you've got the 10lb tubs (I cant find it anywhere in Canada that has it).
What I dont like, is that it has no flavour (I tend to mix my Optimum Nutrition Whey Vanilla or Double Chocolate with just a bit of 2%skim and water).

Out of curiosity how would your whey powder taste with just water (or skim milk)?

Anyways, definately post when you have the chocolate flavour available, as I'll definately give it a try (the 10lb tubs are nice, it should last me longer than 1.5-2months).

With water, I don't mind it, and I know many people that just drink it with water no problem. On the other hand, I know people that don't like it at all. So, it's really tough to say. I used to use just water and just 'chug' it back, but now I just put it in Crystal light, and it tastes fine. If you put it in skim milk, you will barely taste anything, but the milk.

We did have an amazing chocolate flavour, but the cost is unbelievable, $15 more than the regular non-flavoured protein. So we are shopping around, and looking for an alternative.

Yes, but I find more people can help you with a problem, if they can understand your question

Just like anything else - the answer is "it depends". Depends on how much you use per serving (people will vary), how many you may have in a day, if you have it every day, etc.

We go through quite a bit in our household, but we have two iron pumpers living here too.

You can get ON Whey (optimumnutrition.com) from SND for about $0.65 per serving

I just got my order from them the other day and they even threw in a free sample! It was shipped from Waterloo to Toronto, but I was only charged GST and not PST. Free xpresspost shipping too with orders above $100 (about 3 bottles).

refer me if you can thx!
