Projector this boxing day [sub 1500]

What's a good projector [value, I suppose] for mainly watching videos?

It'll be situated in my basement, so there isn't that much natural light that's interfering with the projection. For now, I'm planning to project onto the wall, so screen isn't necessary (though I know screen makes it so much better).
