Microsoft and Pepsi planning massive Xbox 360 giveaway

We can’t divulge the source of this information (what else is new?), but we’ve learned that Microsoft is going to be teaming up with Pepsi for a major promotion this fall in which they’ll be giving away over 9,000 Xbox 2/Xbox 360 consoles in the weeks ahead of the next-gen console’s official release. The contest will use an under-the-cap registration method (much like Pepsi did before with those iTunes giveaways), and supposedly they’ll be giving away one console every ten minutes, 24 hours a day, for nine weeks straight.

So X-Box 2 will be released this summer?

I dunno about this.. the math just doesn't add up..

thats not exactly 9000 units.. sounds fishy to me!

wow, and i thought i drank a lot of pepsi to try to win a free ipod, now i'll be buying it by the case load!

lol... if they are doing such promo, this would be like 1000 times more crazy than the pepsi ipod promo last yr.!

Maybe they start at noon the first day, and end at midnight the last.

well think about the last ipod promo, they were givin away 2016 ipods... not just straight 2000....

whatever, ... givin away is all good!

great...looks like my sleep is going to get cut in half or even less....again...

Seems like an easy way to make us look stupid, makes me look stupid too.

If this is true....wow. MS is taking over the gaming market (already did anyways ). Hope it's not all hype too.


I wish I'll have some sort of part-time job by then, I don't think I should ask my parents to buy me this.
