i just started watching season 1..
and i dont get what was in the "Infirmary" sorry for the spelling why he wants that insulin thing? i dont get what the doctor thinks he has.. can someone fill me in? so he isnt diabetic?

He needs to go there coz of the drainage thing. You probably have not watched the episode with the toothpaste and the mental patient Haywire, it'll become clear soon.
And yeah he doesn't really have diabetes. He needs to take this pill to increase his blood sugar level to mimic diabetic symptoms.

I think scofield told the doctor that he has type 1 diabetes, and he's been getting a few shots of insulin. Then the doc wanted to conduct a test on him to measure his blood glucose level, to make sure he really did have diabetes. So scofield asked c-note for the pill which is for people with glucagon deficiency so it increases the blood sugar level.
