Default people with ipod

"other" stuff taking a lot of space on my ipod...wondering if anyone else has this? when i check the space being used up on my ipod in itunes i have 7.30 gigs of "other", it never changes and i don't even know how it all got there...if anyone knows if this is normal or not and what this "other" stuff is please help

Probably best to use iTunes to completely wipe it clean to reclaim that lost space. Most likely it was setup to store files as well as music so wiping it should be what you're after. Once done just copy the tunes back onto it.

plug your ipod into your pc's usb port and open windows explorer and look inside the folders sorted by file size.

do that. it may help (before you do this) to set your ipod on disk mode so you can actually peep inside.

thanks everyone for their input, i checked using the disk mode and couldn't find where these extra files were, so i ended up just restoring it and didn't realize how easy it was took 2 minutes to restore and about 10 to put all my songs and videos back on
