Can anyone tell me where I can get the best deal on the Palm IIIxe. *I know staples.ca had a really good deal, but it is no longer listed on their site. *I am only interested in Canadian sites. *Thanks

I wonder if Palm has discontinued this item, it seems that many companies no longer have them on their sites....

Yes, Palm has discontinued the item and replaced it with the Palm m100.  Palm does have some refurbished ones here:

https://store.palm.com/refurbished/refurbished.asp

but you'd have to buy through BorderFree.com as they don't take Canadian orders online.  It's not a Canadian site so you're probably not that interested...

You could try this site:

www.handheldcanada.com

I don't know how the prices compare though

Good call Fuji, yeah they have it for &#36289.99.  There's a &#3650 rebate from Palm as well bringing the price down to &#36239.99.

There's a &#36100 e-trade rebate as well but there's strings attached.  Check it out here:

Thanks everyone.....

It just pisses me off, knowing that if I ordered it a couple days earlier from staples, i could have had it for much less....

Thanks again.

Incase anyone else is interested Staples.ca has relisted the item @ &#36299.00 along with &#3650 rebate and the online coupon that brings it to &#36209.00, and you get the free cross pen (see coupon page)

Happy hunting......

I think getting the clie from a US retailer is a good idea rather than the IIIxe.

Got the clie for CDN&#36450 shipped from US, including taxes etc using www.borderfree.com.

(from www.shop4digital.com)

NOT EXACTLY A HOT DEAL! =)

But the Clie beats the pants off Palms, even the Vx so its a good deal.

There is a US&#3650 rebate too!
