Opinion: BF2 vs BF2142 vs other

I'm looking for a decent fun FPS game. I loved BF1942 and still play it on occassion, but I'm sick of the MMO crap that I've been doing and looking for FPS again. I'm thinking about a few of them. Just wondering which you'd prefer.

GRAW 2 IS out.. well for xbox 360.. i guess u mean for PC?

I used to play a bit of BF2 so when BF2142 I gave the demo a quick run and wasn't a big fan of the futuristic setting. Just a personal preference though.

BF2 is pretty cheap too you can get a dvd version for $20 at walmart/EB/etc

I still play bf2. Anyone wanna join up and form a squad?

Yeah I meant for PC. Apparently its supposed to be out on March 31st.

BF2 was awesome, I spent countless hours playing it. I've also spent countless hours on BF2142, but not as much as BF2. While BF2142 has a better unlock and ranking system and the new titan game mode, I'm still more a fan of the realistic design of BF2.

this is coming from someone who has been playing BF1942 since it came out and also played Desert Combat since alpha 0.2 (DC is a mod for 1942 made by the same group that made BF2)

BF2 is not so bad now, still a bit buggy here and there but no real big issues

If you played DC you can bet I played against/alongside you at some time or another. I played the hell out of DC and its still one of my favorite game/mods of all time. I actually just reinstalled it 2 nights ago to play again. No better fps ever made than 1942 and DC came out. But I'd like to try something new. From what I've read a DC mod for BF2 is coming soon. If thats the case, I may get BF2.

I might a little bf2 here and there... I think the point of existence mode for bf2 is great, I wish more people played.

BF:MC is pretty enjoyable. It's so exaggerated it's laughable. I usually end up running my own teammates over when I get bored. The moan and groans are hilarious. Sounds like they're vomitting their guts out when they die.

Army of Two will have similar gameplay to BF since they're the same team. Hell, they even used the same music for their trailers.

BF 1942 still pwns, well not rly, get the DC mod, the flying there requires more skills than in Bf2, like omg i can pwn anyone with the nighthawk helicopter.
