Spring has arrived and the mowers are arriving in the stores. Post your Lawn Mower deals here:
Costco has Poulan Pro this year equipped with the Honda motor. The self propelled model is $399 and the push model is $299. Did they put these models on sale last year towards the end of the season? Why did they move away from the MTD decks with the Honda motors? Nick |

Both Poulan's are 160cc.
This weekend, Sears has a Craftsman 150cc self propelled mower with 5.5 ft*lb torque on clearance for $259.95 (was $379.99). It has a 21 inch deck and a B&S engine. Order no. is 718 436 870. While quantities last. Dave Last edited by DavidY; Mar 28th, 2009 at 01:34 AM.. |

Ok guys I used the thread for snowblowers and it helped a lot. So here I am needing a riding lawnmower and hope I can help and get some info. I saw that Consumer Reoprts says that the John Deere LA115 is there best buy, but it says 1800.00, which HD has for like 2200.00. Anyway my question is...what is first the recommended brand by most. And how often do these come with a package like a small trailer??
Thanks all S. |

I am just wondering if 160cc is enough for mulching?
I am finally retiring my hand me down 26 year old Sears craftman gas push mower and was really getting tired of emptying the grass constantly. The Costco Poulan does look nice, the rear high wheels and the Honda engine puts a plus to this mower. Yard is about 30x130 feet in total. Cheers!!!

Thanks but i was thinking more about the reel mower type.
http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/s...k=P_PartNumber Quite expensive, so a good deal would be nice. |

any suggestions for electric lawn mowers?
i've got a typical surburban lawn, so not too big, but still big enough that doing it with a reel could become annoying quickly. and i find gas ones to be rather noisy and annoying to deal with compared to electric
