SOYO Group Inc has been around for >2 decades, but they recently filed for bankruptcy in May

if anything happens to your electronics, warranty claims might be iffy... caveat emptor

Got a Soyo LCD a while ago. It was too bright and when set to lower brightness the colours were all off. Ended up returning it.

Just personal experience.

Soyo used to make some of the neatest motherboards back in the Socket A era. Their PCB was white(!) and they had some high end features like no-one else (Like having a female voice instead of a BIP BIP speakers, telling you the computer diagnostic). They were also expensive, but were the best.

Kinda like having the X58 Classified of the Socket A for Athlons/Durons.

Afterwards, never much heard of them.

I picked up one of these a month ago.... office depot will give you a warranty (1 year i think) and you can also purchase additional years on the warranty.
