Nice deals! Don't forget the 10% off coupon code found another thread. IIRC the coupon code is only good for the next few days. Might have to pull the trigger on this deal - I've been waiting for a good price on a D90 for too long now!

Do we know if newegg.ca is a canadian authorized distributor of Nikon? Otherwise...no warranty. I know the US store isn't authorized.

Newegg isn't, but their wholesaler is.. You camera/serial should be registered with Nikon and warranty will be honored.

At least, this is what happen with Canon.

Now not sure if it would be US or Can warranty.. depend of the stock they have.

Be careful with Nikon warranties. Nikon Canada will not honor the warranty on a Nikon USA camera. You will need to get it serviced in the States.

This is not the case with Canon where the warranty applies to North America.

Yes.. this is the only point that I wonder (this is why I noted US vs Can)

That said, I had Nikon DSLR for the past 7 years and only needed warranty once, and it was for a lens. Finger crossed, this deal is hot!

fyi, my D90 had to be sent back to Nikon to remap a hot pixel. and this was a month after i bought it.

Anybody know about the warranty issue here for sure? This is a GREAT price - especially with the 10% off - but I'm not sure it's good enough for me to run without a CDN warranty on the body and lense. Tempting but ..............

Camera Store has the D90 kit for $1199, 5% tax only so $1259 tax in.

Compared to this $1189 tax in. You save $70 by giving up warranty.
