Default New Forum for fashion?

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how many people would support a new forum for fashion? For guys who wanna discuss what's in and what's not, or girls who are interested in newest trends.

we should have a new forum called "new forums". it will be a sub forum under comments and suggestions and that's where we can make all these useless threads about new forums go.

I wouldn't mind having a forum on fashion. It would be good we can discuss trends and good deals.

you might as well call it the gay forum if we had a fashion/designer forum.

I don't think there is anything gay about it, I'm all for a Fashion Forum.

There isn't anything gay about having the forum. What I meant was if you thought about fashion and design at the professional level...you get the point.

I think we mentioned it in another thread before, but the best way to get a new forum is to start some discussion on the topic. If there were a large number of fashion topics that were started and members were participating we'd definitely consider it.

...hence a forum for people to discuss what new forums to create. i've seen tons of those threads lately.

There have been several but not tons. Even the sports forum is pretty dead and there have always been more threads regarding sports.

To think about it, a fashion forum does make sense. Remember that thread in the off-topic forums "What's Business Casual?" . The fashion forum would've been a good place to discuss that.

If there was such a forum, would one be allowed to plug their own clothing lines and such? My gf makes her own clothes but Ebay doesn't seem like the ideal place to market a new venture as she is more into custom designing and not an actual line ...

Regardless, I like the idea of this forum... I think the only concern is RFD having too many forums.

not sure if this is possible with the software that Derek & Co. use, but judging by the amount of forum suggestions, ppl should be able to flag the forums on/off at their own preference. That way, the main forum page wouldn't be overly 'busy' unless the individual chose to have it that way.

Just some thoughts ..
