I need to open up a bank account and just wondering whether some of you wenth thru this already. Basically I will be doing weekly deposits and bi-weekly withdrawals from that account. Which bank would be best in terms on charges etc....
Currently I have my personal accounts at CIBC and so far Im thinking that doing all my banking at cibc would be convenient etc..... but if switching will save me $ im all up for it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanx |

I know there have been at least a couple of threads on business accounts in the past couple of months - try doing a search to find some more.
I've posted in the past that I have had a good experience with Bank of Montreal. They have value plans that will waive your banking fees in exchange for maintaining a minimum balance. The amount of minimum will depend on which plan you choose, based on the number of transactions you expect to make. I also earn Airmiles from it. For example, my plan requires a minimum $5,000 balance, and I get something like 20 free transactions at ABM's per month, plus statement with cheques returned etc. This plan would otherwise cost $15/month if I do not keep the minimum balance. |
