my valentine's story

currently waiting in the airport waiting to come home in time for valetines (been away for 3 weeks)

anyways my story takes place back in grade 11 of high school, I had been dating my gf for about a year and she was beautiful, but because of family stuff and stress from school, her hair started to fall out, and was totally depressed because of it. She started wearing hats all the time, and was allowed to because of her situation.

I knew it meant a lot to her and its obviously really stressful to go through high school with something like that. It never bothered me and I told her that I didn't care.

For valentines that year, i showed up to school that friday with a surprise for her. I brought her the typical roses and chocolates and a stuffed bear, but I was also wearing a hat. After, I gave her the stuff, i removed my hat to reveal my newly shaved head, army style, and i told her that whatever struggles that she had to go through in life, that I would be there right beside her sharing her struggles and helping her to overcome them. It brought tears to her eyes, and I will never forgot that smile.

I'm still with my high school sweetheart after almost 7 years together. happy valentines day
