i used to collect vintage consoles and here are some you should consider. i 'll break it down into 3 catagories: more to come as i remember them
consoles and games: VIC-20 : i learned how to programme basic v.2 and made all the monitor at sears scroll a funny message. Pong : any free-standing independent unit w/controllers attached Vectrex : only played it twice but very cool. Fairchild Channel-F : never seen one in close-up Phillips CD-i : not a bad system, just overpriced Atari 400/800 : and you thought atari 2600 was cool... Neo Geo : i'm still working on grabbing it for you. shooters -- galaga, raiden, pleadies, GORF accessories: any quality joystick odd controllers such as the DC fishing rod / maracas rom units for nintendo/sega offbeat interface like tomy robot, nes paddle for arkanoids, collecovision rollerball, etc... handhelds & nostalgia: Nintendo Watch & Game : vintage model such as manhole Parker Brothers : merlin! wildfire, mastermind Tomy Handhelds : soccer, caveman, etc... Tandy [Radio Shack] : shoot-a-way! |

I have been trying to get a channel F for quite a while....
Still no luck. I have 4 sets of maraca controllers for the DC. The CD-i is something also I have been working on getting. Pretty much anything that is out of the ordinary I try to pick up. But there are lots of people like me on Ebay looking for all this stuff. The JVC X'eye is something I have been very close a couple of times at getting. But always beat at the last second. The 3d0 plays panasonic games only I think. Its sad, I haven't even tried since I got it in the mail. Too busy renovating my parent's house in Kingston |

Wow you must have one heckuva closet space.
Is it me or you have something against Sony ?

I have a Super Nintendo, Genesis and GameGear... either I'm a vintage collector or someone who lost interest in consoles in early highschool... probably the latter.
Still, very cool indeed. Lynx would be sweet, as would the jaguar and the neo geo. Good luck with your collection. |

Nothing against Sony. I wasn't playing too many console games for a while, and tthen got back into it when I got an Xbox.
I have been waiting for DVD burners to get cheaper before I get a PS2. ![]() (I'm not even sure thats how you copy games. I don't know much about Sonys stuff) |
