I am looking on this too. I still have not find out the exact model of this player. From the scanned flyer, it looks like "FE100". Then I googled and nothing came up. I have to wait to see the actual paper flyer, or anyone familiar with mpio product can tell me?

Between mpio and scandisk, I prefer mpio. Mpio is a dedicated mp3 player manufacturer while Scandisk is specialized in data storage rather than music. I assume the music quality of mpio is better. The expandable SD card on Scandisk is a nice to have feature, but not quite essential to music listening.

Don't get either. My friend had an Mpio and the sound wasn't all that great.

I would recommend getting a Sony one, they feature awesome sound and the newer models, NWE400+ and up have a built-in FM Tuner and uses OLED which looks awesome. Sony also uses ATRAC3/PLUS so you can fit almost double the amount of music.

The problem of SONY is it does not support Drag-and-drop, and the low transfer speed.

Up for this boxing sale is SONY NWE-107 at Zellers and BB at $100. It is quite a basic model does not even have FM receiver or voice recorder. It is off my wish list.
