Default Moving cities.. can I keep my cell phone #?

I'm moving from Kingston to Ottawa. Both cities have the same area code.. but it's not a local call between the cities. Anyone know if bell can port numbers between cities? It would be *really* convenient to keep my old number.

I tried calling but they want my account # and I just subscribed a few weeks ago, and I guess you only see the # on the bills that come through the mail... (and they refuse to help me without the number. Guess I have to wait until I get my first bill!).

Thanks!

Good question, don't think it can be done though, even though both appear to share the same area code it's assigned to different cities so technically I don't think they can do that.
