Iconshot [Merged] Telus Retention Plan..

Don't know if this was posted already but this is for existing Telus clients.

I call a week back to cancel the line and explained to them that i was going to go with Rogers. They asked me what they were offering and they would match it. This is what I got.

250 anytime
100 Long distance
Unlimited Incoming
After 6pm free
Caller display

All for $20 plus system access fee.

I think you would be able to add vm in there and they would match it too. It's just that my dad does not use VM.

My friend also did this after and I got the same deal.

Voice Mail
Free evenings/weekends after 6pm

$17.30 + SAF + 911 + taxes

I am happy with it....

I am currently on the retention plan aswell. I was looking to save money and not many minutes..since i dont use my cell much. So my plan is 17.50+tax and no saf. Its not a bad deal for me. 20 bucks with taxes and everything.

there is no direct number. You call into client care, and if you're a churn risk, they will transfer you to L&R

Telus offered me, without me ever calling them:

$20 plus SAF + 911 + GST:
200 anytime minutes (per second billing)
evenings and weekends at 6PM
voice mail (not sure if it's 3 or 10)
call display
call waiting

I want to get text messaging included. What's my chances if I call retention? I see some of you got it for about this price. I know per second billing is more expensive but do you think this excludes me getting text messaging for $20?

If you're not on contract, you'll probably get it. They're worried about iPhone churn.

You should ask for the Retail EPP plan instead, $25 for 350 Daytime minutes, VM3, CID, Free after 6pm,, detailed billing, additional minutes for $.025
