Does Candian Tire have a price protection policy? If so, how long?

There isn't a price protection policy wiht Canadain tire but a 90 day return policy. So you would have to refund the item and purchase it again rather than getting the difference back. I encountered this problem before. Mind you, the item must be in its "original condition" though. If they really don't wanna do it for you, they can just say it's not in original condition. That's a bit tricky.

I just did this recently. I brought the receipt with the old (higher) price to returns, she just noted down "price adjustment" on the old receipt and gavie me another receipt with the price difference + taxes. No question asked.

YMMV
We took in an item for price adjustment and was told that the price protection is for 10 days. The manager refused to do the price adjustment as the receipt was 23 days old. We ended up doing a refund and going to another Canadian Tire store to purchase the same item at the sale price. |

It is 14 days.
Same stores (from where you have purchased) do it after 14 days (depends on the manager) Once they did it for me. Other time when they refused, I bought the product the same day and returned it on the old receipt. SKU numbers do not change. |

Its SEVEN DAYS price protection at their Leamington store. Buyer beware.
