Member of Nellys St. Lunatics Alleges Police Brutality A member of Nellys St. Lunatics music group is alleging police brutality. He says he was tasered following his arrest during a traffic stop Saturday in Hazelwood. The incident sent the performer to the hospital, and has triggered an internal police investigation. 34 year old rapper and member of Nellys St. Lunatics, Ali Jones was pulled over Saturday afternoon about 4:30 p.m. near Lindbergh and Mcdonnell Blvd. and taken into custody for having expired license and tags. But Jones alleges once handcuffed and in the back of the squad car, the officer crossed the line. "He gets out, opens the backdoor and he tases me over and over," says Jones. Ali showed Newschannel Fives Randy Jackson more than a dozen, 50,000 volt electrical burn marks, delivered by the taser that he says rendered him helpless. "I was afraid," says Jones. "I had a bowel movement on myself, he tased me so long. You see my back, he tased me 35 times over and over and he held it every time." But Hazelwood police tell a different story. "While the officer was trying to restrain him, the officer was kicked and as the officer continued to restrain him in order to bring him under control he applied our department Taser," says Lieutenant Brian McKenna with the Hazelwood Police Department. Jones says he never got physical with the arresting office. Supervisors with the Hazelwood Police Department say like all incidents involving Tasers, this one will come under scrutiny. Police confirm the traffic stop was videotaped by the police cars dashboard camera. But the tasing was reportedly done in the back seat, and out of the cameras view. Sound on the tape may provide the only record. "All uses of force, taser and otherwise are reviewed for compliance with the guidelines and our preliminary investigation at this point indicates the officer was within the guidelines in this incident," says Lt. McKenna. Thats hard for Jones to believe. He says he was taken by police twice to the hospital overnight when he lost feeling in his right fingers and arm. He also says the officer threatened him because he and the St. Lunatics are opening a restaurant and bar in the 6800 block of Howdershell Road. "Ive got to get a restraining order," says Jones, "because he said if he sees me anywhere around here, hes going to do something. Hell shoot me, he told me hell shoot me." Jones was charged with resisting arrest, third degree assault on a police officer, and property damage to a police car. He posted $1500 bond and was released. Hazelwood police say the officer involved is still assigned to street patrol. Source: http://www.ksdk.com/

You're obviously lost in what this guy is involved in ... he's got money and it's not drug money, trust me.
Old album, St. Lunatics projects, restaurant and projects in St. Louis, plus he's covered by everything in the "Derrty ENT" camp aka Nelly funds ... He's living large. My personal opinion of the situation ... somewhere between the cops saying he was too much and Ali saying they were too much, there's some blurred and unspoken for acts that happened. He was actually making an illegal U-Turn and then they took him on expired plates, where everyone knows they're probably take the car and wish you a safe walk home ... I don't think he was happy about it, probably started yapping about it or something of the sorts, they arrested him and who knows, he might have swayed away (Plus he's a BIG GUY, I'm sure they were intimiated by him) and what not but he was already in the back of the police car, handcuffed and they were zapping him over and over again ... Even to "Control Someone", you'd do it once or twice ... not 30+ times. I don't think he was a perfect angel but I don't think he was the violent black animal they're depicting him as either. Guy is married with a kid and has no past record of being ANYTHING like that. Just doesn't fit with his character, he's not "The Game" ...
