Good brand. I have a pair, and my father does too; made in USA, looks like the color will fade when I wash them, so if you get these, do NOT wash them for several months (6+), let them wear in well, and when you wash them, they will take on a unique fade reflective of how YOU wear them. Good construction and material.

one of the sales representative told me that all their ladies clothes are hand made...not too sure if its true....and she told me that they have limited quantity on each and every item too, which make the brand and shirt unique....

In jean lovers land. Go read the Superfuture forums - that's how you're supposed to break in a pair of jeans. Obviously, you are supposed to have more than one pair, live in a more or less dry climate, and have nuts that don't sweat buckets

A few of my friends are "jeans lovers" and I find it pretty ridiculous. More expensive up front, have to leave 'em dirty for a long time after which you get the lovely task of hand washing, and if you're lucky (pun?) the running ink didn't ruin any of your other (stupid expensive) clothes.

I'll stick with pre-washed jeans for $40, thanks. I've told them this, and they tell me that "I don't get it." They're right, I don't.

Yeah, I guess you don't. A good pair of jeans not only lasts literally half a lifetime, but it is just more pleasant to wear than the average Wrangler or Levis. I have never seen jeans ruin other clothing - obviously, you're supposed to take steps not to wash them together for the first few washes, etc. But, not everyone is willing to drop $100-$300 on jeans (and mind you, absolutely NOT all >$100 jeans are necessarily any good - plenty of trash like Taverniti - I've eBayed excellent selvage for under 50 bucks US, which is entirely acceptable, and I have Japanese selvage Edwins/Uniqlo that I picked up in Osaka/NY for ~$70 apiece, which is quite good, too).

I think you need to get yourself a pair that fits very well that is very good, and try it. If you still can't tell the difference, then I guess you're not a jeans person.

We were out at dinner with a bunch of people and one of the jeans people got seated at an end. Because of that seat, he spent more time with his arms/wrists/elbows resting on his thighs/knees as a result. When we got up to leave, we noticed that his white/cream sweater had been dyed purple from the denim. Not so good, that.

As for trying them out myself... there are two acute problems, beyond the preference for care and style. First, I'm cheap. I'm here to save a buck, aye? Second, I'm a fatty. I don't think they make those jeans in 40.

I keep wandering into the Lucky Brand jean stores in malls but I think I'll stop...everything seems ridiculously overpriced for what it is. So is the stuff supposed to be good quality then?

Hehe on the first day I got my pair of Sevens they started fading on my new pair of shoes that got that day too. So I washed them 6 times before I even wore them again. I didn't really notice too much of a difference of the fading.

OMG I don't get it...There is nothing wrong with a $15 Costco/Kirkland pair. I think every company has them made by some poor Guatemalan kids for pennies a day anyways...
Do they still even make Edwins...Those were gross 20 years ago, and probably still are now.
