Default LF:Recommendations for a 7 passenger SUV

I looked at the Subaru Tribeca, Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander but 3rd row seats are so small. Might check out the Nissan Pathfinder tomorrow. I want to stay with Japanese models

Thanks

MDX, you might get a deal on the remaining 09 models since 2010 model is coming out with some changes. There's a certain model RAV4 that also has a 3rd row.

MDX is nice but the back is pretty tight. I knew someone who picked one up for 42K fully loaded

If you're going to use the third row frequently nothing beats a full size domestic SUV.

If the Enclave counts as a Japanese model, , then I would suggest the Hyundai Veracruz.

Seriously, look at Hyundai.

pmc was suggesting the OP broaden his search to include domestic models.... like the Enclave.....

2x on the Hyundai Veracruz as well.

Is the Highlander equivalent to the Pilot? If so, I would look in the US for this since the warranty is North American wide which the Pilot is not. So much cheaper in the states

I'm sure being Korean has everything to do with it (Sarcasm). The Veracruz has great reviews and is a great value for what you get.

The Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid is a good option.

Or if you can afford it, the Cadillac Escalade Hybrid.

Been there done that.....If you find the Pilot too small in the 3rd row..stop looking...It is the same as the previosuly mentioned MDX...You will have to go to HUGE V8 like Armada to get bigger...even Veracruz, Enclave you're wasting your time...if you want ROOMY 3rd row seating PLUS GOOD cargo space..get a minivan or large V8 SUV with 5K gas tax...end of discussion..

P.S....The Mazda CX-9 is actually pretty decent 3rd row and cargo, but still nowhere close to a minivan..pretty comparible to the Pilot..I am actually surprised you found the Pilot too small in the 3rd row...it is a true 8 passenger and based on the Odyssey platform..my brother's has as much room in the 3rd row seat as my Nissan Quest.
Good luck!
