Ever get annoyed by the snow or rain that drip onto your grey box or blue box contents?
What are your strategies? I'm wondering if there's some kind of small awning contraption that you can buy for this purpose? |

The usual problem is the contents be blown away from the box. Our area happened to be chosen to be in a pilot that has a net installed with our blue box so that stuff won't be blown away. It seems that works pretty good so far.

Where do you put your blue box or gray box? Why would it get wet before you move it to the curb side? Or, you just want to be kind to those who will pick up the box?

Try going to a grocery store, usually they have large waxed boxes used to transport produce. You might be able to cut it and form a lid. For extra stability, put a brick on it or something.
I have a covered porch, so I don't have the same problem. |

I see. People put that in their porch. In our neighbourhood, people put that in door such as in the garage.
