Haven't really seen much about hotels and wonderland. I don't think it really has a major draw for that.

It's more of a local park. I think typically there are discount tickets sold at Shoppers drug mart, etc. But I haven't seen any advertisements.

But I really have to ask, why Canadas Wonderland? You're not planning on coming down just for that are you? If you were coming for something else in Toronto, and wanted to go there that would make sense.

If you are coming jsut for PCW I'd suggest you think about a different destination. PCW is pretty much dwarfed by some of the major USA parks. Cedar Point is just a bit farther south(in Ohio on lake Erie) and has a MUCH,MUCH better coaster lineup.

i`ve been to disneyworld but this year i was planning a quicky getaway for maybe a week ..... all i really planned to do was wonderland for the trip ...do you think its not enough of a park to warrant the trip ? i wonder how much more it would be to go to cedars point to actually make it worthwhile ....if you`re from near there i`d like some more info if you can ....and thanks for the reply.

No prob. I always jump at the chance when coasters get mentioned. doesn't come up very often. I travel all over riding them(have ridden 135 individual rides so far) so I know what I'm talking about.

It's not that Wonderland is a bad park. It's just average. Some of the USA parks are just that much better.

Put it this way:

PCW: 14 roller coasters(11 adult)
Tallest coaster:125 feet

Cedar Point:16 coasters(14 adult)
The first few tallest coasters: 420, 310, 215, 205, 181, 150, 120, 125.

They also have the #1,#3,#7,#10 ranked coasters in the world.

If you want coasters you're not going to find a better park.

And really it won't cost you that much more. In fact you could probably find better hotel deals near Cedar Point. Cedar Point is the driving factor in Sandusky. So hotels,ec are everywhere. Wonderland isn't nearly as much of a factor in Toronto, so you won't find as much deals around.

If you want to see some pics or videos I've got a bunch on my website:

If you have any other questions I'm sure I can help out.

To be honest I'm not even sure where the closest hotels would be to wonderland.

However I can think of at least a dozen or so hotels around Cedar Point(ranging from cheap to expensive).
