I hang them to dry. Might throw them into the dryer in the morning if I need the jeans and they are still a bit damp.

Dryer makes them softer though. Do whatever's more economical.

My mother leaves it to hang to dry and then place all the dry clothes in the dryer for about 5 minutes..it saves you money

I hang them because I'm scared they may shrink in the dryer...
BTW, do they shrink in the dryer?

Yes. Jeans suffer from shrinkage but it's not too bad. They will eventually get tight. Hanging them to dry and then putting them in the dryer is a great method of keeping the same size and making them soft.

100% denim jeans will shrink slightly in the dryer, but jeans blended with lycra or other stretchy fabric will stretch out with use, putting them in the dryer is a way of getting them back down to size. I put all my jeans in the dryer, as they are all blends, but I hang dry jeans skirts as they are 100% cotton.

i hang mine to dry, i may fluff them for a couple of minutes in the dryer before i wear them.

the dryer wears them down quicker.

Dryer. Unless they're my raw jeans, those are handwashed and hung dry to avoid getting indigo on the rest of the clothes in the load.

No ironing WHATSOEVER.

Unless they are unsanforized, if the jeans shrink, they will re-stretch back to the size they were before wash.
