Default I only heard this once, anyone else hear it too?

I heard that the day Babe Ruth was traded there was a Lunar Eclipse. 86 years later the Red Sox win the World Series on the day there is a Lunar Eclipse. Anyone else hear this? I can't seem to find the date Ruth was sold.

According to:
http://www.baberuth.com/flash/about/biograph.html
http://www.halloran.com/astnews.htm

Babe Ruth was traded in December 1919. Second source says December 26.

According to:
http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclips...ecade1911.html

There was no lunar eclipse in December 1919.

the NASA page is probably reliable.
