Default How to shop at costco with your Visa or Mastercard

As you are all aware, costco does not take visa or mastercard at their warehouses. This is a drag on people who take advantage of Visa and mastercard reward programs (Like the 5% cashback mastercard for instance).

Here's the thing, Costco warehouses do not accept these cards, but costco.ca does! So you can buy anything from costco.ca with these cards.

But now you are saying "But charger, I want to buy something in the warehouse that isn't online."
Well you are in luck here as well, because Costco.ca sells costco cash cards which can be bought here
http://www.costco.ca/en-CA/Browse/Pr...v=&browse=&s=1

So now you can buy anything at costco no matter how you pay for it.

Nice find.

Now look for ways we can use either Visa and AMEX at "No Frills".

How much is shipping for the cash cards? My dad refuses to get a membership and hassles me constantly to get cash cards. Last time he was like, get me 10 25$ GCs. Uh, no, that's embarrassing and takes a lot of time. But if I could just order a bunch from the website that would be easiest.

Why is it embarrassing? Where I used to work, people would buy gift cards in bulk as gifts for the office/school events/family and friends/etc. Stores love it when you buy gift cards from them.

On costco.ca there is no way to get around it. If you have the cash cards though it is pretty easy to get around in the warehouse stores.

Very good find, kudos to you!

Now the only thing we have to worry about is losing the card! Better not get the $1,000 one
